Christmas Eve, I stopped by the Jewell’s home to shoot a couple family photos for them. Their little granddaughter just woke up from a nap, so she wasn’t quite ready.
This sister and brother duo was a total riot together! Next spring Allyson is graduating from George Fox University and Daniel from high school. Well done!
The first half of these images were shot last June, and the second half just this last week. I’m amazed to look back and see how my style has changed since then!
There are few people in this world that make me feel like a midget, and Daniel is definitely one of them!
Just like Allyson’s portrait session in the previous post, the first half of Daniel’s was shot back in June and the second half we did last week at this AWESOME lodge. Way to go, Eagle Scout!
I love that Allyson has a heart for children and sharing with them the truth of God’s Word. He has incredible plans for how He will continue to use your life for His glory, Allyson!

This was my first time doing a session in the rain, but it proved to be such fun! It definitely would not have flowed as smoothly without my trusty assistant! Thanks Heather!
Andrey and Larisa, watching both of your personalities interact together was priceless! It is evident that Christ is the center of your relationship. Blessings to both of you!
I love these guys! Not only are they eager about investing in the lives of others, but they’re passionate about sharing the gospel the way Jesus did.
The first time I met them was in junior high. My siblings, a few neighbors and I decided to hop in the car with my oldest sister and check out the AWANA program at the church she and her fiance just recently started attending together. Brad was teaching the junior high and Chris helped listen to verses in small group time.
Well, it didn’t take long for our family to switch over from home church to Puyallup Community Baptist. To this day, Brad and Chris continue to be involved with the junior high in AWANA. Their lives have impacted many.
For the past couple months, Chris has been my mentor, which makes her even more precious to me. She is a godly woman and reflection of Christ.
I am so very grateful God brought them both into my life.
These two are such great friends, but its a wonder someone didn’t break a leg by the end of the portrait session!
Nap time!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s Oompa Loompa is now taking auditions:
Noah can be very serious sometimes. But the way his face lights up when he’s talking about something he loves just blows me away!
I was so excited that Noah’s mom suggested we do Noah’s portrait session in their backyard!
I’m a firm believer of boys growing up in an environment that encourages a healthy use of the imagination. A place to explore. A place to build. A place to run and laugh. A place to play into the long hours of the night and dread the moment when mom announces its time to get ready for bed. A place where boys can be boys. And a place where boys learn to become men.
Cole has got to be the coolest brother on the face of the planet. Well, next to my brothers, of course. When he gets that mischievous little twinkle in his eye, I can’t help but want to know what he’s up to!
