  • Clover Park Technical College Commercial Shoot | Lakewood & Puyallup, Washington

I was honored to have been hired by the college I graduated from to not only take photos of both their campuses for marketing purposes, but to sub-teach their advanced photography class! Here’s a few of my favorites from the campus shoots…

  • Our Wedding!!! | Puyallup, Washington

2011 hardly seemed like it even came, it happened so fast! It came and left so quickly, and yet so much happened in those 12 months to make it one of the most life-changing years of my life! We got engaged, had 3 bridal showers in 3 different states, got married, moved from Washington (me) and Georgia (Eric), and now are enjoying life as love birds in what people down here in Texas call…the Promised Land.

Even though we had a blur of a year, we are so truly blessed and thankful for the abundant life God has given us! I’m so excited to be called Mrs. Eric Lantzer! I love being his wife!

Gah, I get all gooshy looking at these wedding pictures, knowing that I am, above all women, most blessed to be married to Eric Edward Lantzer. Funny though, looking back, the one thing that made me hesitate about marrying Eric was that I had no clue how to write a cursive ‘z!’

First kiss E.V.E.R. – period dot dash – in the history of our lives! So grateful God preserved our purity so that we could give each other our firstfruits!

Yeah, that first kiss was awkward, BUT, we’re so glad we waited. It sure didn’t take us long to learn! And we haven’t stopped kissing since!!!

We are extremely thankful for how God has used our parents in our lives. We love you guys!

Micah Ness and his com-padres did an awesome job videotaping our wedding for us!

Thank you, Dennis Toderasko for photographing a glimpse of our joy…for a lifetime!

  • Garrett + Erin Part 1 | Davenport, Washington

One week after our wedding at the end of August, I had the privilege of photographing Garrett and Erin’s wedding in Davenport, Washington. Some people thought I was crazy to have booked a wedding so close to ours. But Eric was all for it, so it just gave us a good excuse to extend our honeymoon all the more! winky

Erin and Garrett chose a breathtaking location for their wedding…their own backyard! Rolling hills of wheat dancing in the wind, a rustic barn, sky popping of blue…just the perfect touch of country.

They had binoculars set up for the bride or her ladies could take a peek at the guests arriving at the wedding site next door!

And a few miles down the road…the guys getting ready.

  • Easling Family | Tyler, TX Family Portrait Photographer

I absolutely love getting together with these bundles of energy! My brother, Jon and his family have the cutest grins ever! What can I say…they’re adorable!

Half the time my husband was behind me doing all sorts of who knows what, helping me get the kids to look toward the camera. Makes me laugh just thinking about how we might have looked like a couple of crazies to just anybody! But not to little kiddos! winky

  • Camping

It seemed weird not having internet hooked up at our house for these last few months. But I’m glad we did, ’cause that just meant all the more time with Eric! We’re pretty much inseparable! I sure am liking not having to drive over to use McDonalds free wi-fi though every time I needed to order products or contact clients!

In the last few days, we’ve been able to list quite a few things on Craig’s List and a bunch has already sold! Here’s a table Eric built that we’re listing:

Isn’t it gorgeous?! There’s another one in the makings almost identical to this one in our garage. We’ll keep whichever one sells last. happy

Nearly all the furniture in the house Eric built…our queen bed, our dresser, the guest bed, the living room’s coffee table, the kitchen table. And all from wood he had milled from over in Georgia and North Carolina. There are a few more furniture projects we’re building to sell, so be on the look out for more pictures when they’re done. I can’t get over how much I love Eric’s style of craftsmanship and working alongside him!

Between Christmas and New Years, Eric and I drove down to a ranch near San Antonio to go hunting with my brother Jon and his family (their portrait session is featured in my next post). It’s a whole new experience when you take kids along! winky

Our trip was topped off with camping…just the two of us. happy

Never had a view like this right below our campsite before! I could stay there forever!

I admire you so much, Eric! You are an incredible husband…godly, wise, selfless, strong, kind, giving, funny, skilled, hardworking. You are my best friend, and I thank God for you!
