  • Ciolek Family | Puyallup, Washington

This is almost way too much awesomeness packed into one photo session. Period. Love this family!

P.S. Shelly Ciolek (the mom) is an incredible wedding coordinator, having hundreds of weddings under her belt. She even did ours! Shelly definitely knows what she is doing, making sure that every last detail falls into place. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! She’s energetic, flexible, and helps everything flow so smoothly! She’s incredible. We highly recommend her.

  • Kevin & Laura Part 2 | Dallas, Oregon

Kevin proposed to Laura in Paris, so their table seating chart was a map of Paris, with each of the tables named after famous buildings and parks nearby. Such a cool idea.

Such gorgeous and intricate beading on her dress!

  • Kevin & Laura Part 1 | Dallas, Oregon

A couple years ago, Kevin talked with me about photographing his wedding. Two years later he wrote and said the wedding was on and they wanted me to photograph it! Kevin, your bride is beautiful! I could tell you guys had a blast celebrating your big day with all your guests, and even had a hard time leaving!

What an honor being a part of these guy’s family reunion by taking their portraits here at their lake house in Washington! Just thought I’d share a few of my favorites along with a few bloopers. :)

  • I Got Married!!!

I love life. I love that God created it so that we don’t know what tomorrow may bring. And among all else that I love that I now have a new name!

Its been a while…a looooong while since I’ve updated photography sessions and weddings these past few months. But more important than updating those right now is letting you know the whirlwind of changes that have happened in my life. And I’ve never really been one to write about myself on a blog, so this’ll be a bit of a stretch. ;)

August 28th, I married the man I have been praying for, Eric Lantzer (to read our story, go to http://lantzerandeasling.ourwedding.com/). I had no face to my prayers as a young girl praying for my future husband…until this last year.

Both Eric and I are so grateful we remained pure before marriage, because it has made our marriage and oneness so much richer. Daily, he is a true reflection of Christ’s living work in his life, serving, leading, and encouraging me in my walk with Christ. He points me to Christ. He leads by example. He gives so sacrificially. He is a picture of Christ laying down His life for the church.

Life is definitely an adventure being married to Eric! Not only did we leave and cleave by moving here to Texas, but he constantly surprises me…everything from discovering a gigantic walking stick in the lunch box he brought home to love notes he strategically places in the house for me to find throughout the day.

Eric I wouldn’t trade being married to you for anything! I admire and love you so! You make life so fun! I love being your wife. Total understatement.

  • Olin Family | Tacoma, Washington

My heart melts when I see the genuine love Nathan and Ivy have for each other and their boys. Their faces light up when they see each other. They are so grateful for the life that God has given them and live it to the fullest. Nathan, thank you for serving for our country.

Such a sweet, sweet boy. I love his laughing eyes and adorable giggle!

  • Megan | 2011 Senior | Bainbridge Island, Washington

Even though I’ve lived in Puyallup all my life with tons of islands not more than 2 hours away, I have N.E.V.E.R. been to an island in Washington! That is, until Megan asked if we could do her senior portraits on Bainbridge Island. Of course!

If I really think about it, I guess I’ve been on a few islands in Washington before, but I don’t really count the 10′x10′ patch of ground jetting up in the middle of a lake as a real island. I’m talking a place where people live. Like in a house. Yeah.

So back to Megan. We drove all over the place, stopping whenever we saw a spot we liked. Her brother’s girlfriend, who lives on the island, was our regular tour guide, giving us all sorts of fascinating facts about the area she grew up in and the history of different parts of the island. Such a fun time!
